HP to Release Branded O2 XDA-Atom Compact Smartphone

According Chinese newspaper The Commercial Times, HP will release branded version of the O2 XDA-Atom Smartphone expected will available first half 2006.

Assuming HP uses the same specifications, their branded version of the XDA-Atom will have the following features:

* GSM/GPRS/EDGE
* 802.11b WiFi
* Bluetooth 1.2
* 128MB ROM, 64MB RAM
* 2.7" 240x320 pixel display
* 2 megapixel CMOS integrated camera

* Removable rechargeable Li-Ion battery, 1,500mAh
* Standby - 150 hours, talk 5.5
