Treo 650 vs. the 700w Comparison

If you confusing choose between treo 650 and treo 700w may be this will help you...

Hardware Differences
The 650 maintains it's 320 x 320 resolution, while the 700w drops that resolution to 240 x 240.

Internals
both models supporting the 312 MHz Intel Xscale processor. But treo 700w come with 128 Mb memory but treo 650 only 32 mb, if you choose large storage you can buy treo 700w. But Both models, however, include a SD(Secure Digital) card slot for expansion.

Cameras

700w sporting a 1.3 megapixel camera, while the 650 is still making do with a .3 megapixel (VGA) camera.
The 700w will take a larger, clearer picture (again making use of that extra internal memory).

Email

Both phones support a host of e-mail options, both built-in and via external programs. The 650's base program, Versamail, while not a Microsoft product, actually supports e-mail, Exchange or otherwise better than the Windows Mobile Messaging center. Using a 650, one can read Hotmail directly off of the web, or set up a POP3 account and access their e-mail with a full range of sorting, selecting and management features. On the 700w, Hotmail access will automatically get bounced back to PocketMSN to be configured there, and the e-mail client is simply not as robust, lacking the ability to manage e-mail via multiple selections and groups.

Additional Software
The same goes for media usage. With the advent of quality third party media players for the Treo (like the must-have TCPMP player for the 650), and the ability to expand the Treo memory via SD (2 Gb cards are constantly moving lower in price) one can use either Treo as a full featured media device as well for MP3s, and even small movies. You won't find PSP quality video, but that is not the primary purpose of the machine, and despite that, the movie and music experience on the Treo is more than adequate for the typical user.
