Sprint Treo 700wx coming soon?

Sprint will be releasing a new, upgraded version, called the Palm Treo 700wx. According to Treonauts, the Treo 700wx is now in stock in some stores, and it is expected to sell starting 27th August (for business customers) with general retail availability on September 3rd. The major upgrade will be the memory capacity - the Treo 700wx will have 64MB available user storage, up from 32MB on its predecessor.

This pocket-sized fusion of phone and PDA has enough features to satisfy both general and business consumers, but a premium pricetag places it squarely in the corporate camp.
the Atom Exec and the original Atom gets you a gunmetal grey finish, a faster processor, more built-in memory and extra software.

The same 802.11b Wi-Fi, tri-band GSM/GPRS support and Bluetooth 1.0 have been carried over from its predecessor, but given the Exec's positioning as "a vital tool for professionals on the move". There are a few consumer-friendly features such as multimedia playback and a two-megapixel camera, but these are gimmicky. You need to buy a separate mini-SD card to take advantage of the Exec's multimedia capabilities and the two-megapixel camera produces shoddy pictures.

A worthy successor to the Atom, but frequent email users would do better looking for a smartphone with a built-in keyboard.

PDA Shipments Hit Record High

Good news for PDA company because Worldwide shipments of PDA devices reached a record high in the second quarter of 2006, and more than 3.7 million units were shipped. This is very good record for PDA market and I think Palm still number one!.
industry analyst eveal a trend in PDA’s really beginning to catch on in a more mass market way. The figure reveals a 2.7% increase compared to the same period last year. The ongoing integration of WAN technology into PDAs, and the marketing push of these devices by wireless operators has produced most of the growth compared to one year ago.

Cingular Treo 750 aka Lennon?

If wanna see photo from Treo lennon, here's ! ..Engadget mobile has new photos of the Treo Lennon.Treo 750 has the GSM version of 3G - it apparently supports both UMTS and HSDPA. This PDA running on Windows Mobile, there’s no front facing camera so video calling won’t be one of the available features. This Treo 750 will available next six week or next month ? so just waiting for it! :)

Palm Pilot's first PDA 'Pilot 5000'

PDA Pilot 5000 is the first PDA from palm, and it developed in 1996 by US Robotics' palm computing BU. It was the first PDA of Palm pilot and Run on on Palm OS 1.0. As we know latest issue that palm will release new smartphone called treo nitro , here's photo from that phone , i dont know how can this photo see by us now. You can see more shots at Hi-PDA.com forum. The Nitro is also shown running Palm OS (not sure which version, but most probably yet another iteration of Palm OS 5.4 Garnet).

Nitro is supposed to be a GSM Treo, designed for 3G/UMTS networks. It’s yet to be revealed whether it will have support for HSDPA.
